People have been hailing a 'Dr Martens' dupe with the boots sold by Marks and Spencer's only costing £69 compared to £190 - and they're so comfy it's like 'wearing slippers'.

Marks and Spencer shoppers are raving over a pair of autumn boots which they say are 'blister proof' - and not only that, it feels like you're wearing slippers for the ultimate at home comfort away from home.

The M&S Collection chunky £69 leather boots have been compared to the famous Dr Martens which cost £190 meaning shoppers are already saving themselves £121 - that's enough for another pair of the M&S shoes!

The £69 Leather Lace Up Ankle Boots have a near-perfect five-star review on the M&S website, with many impressed by how 'soft and comfortable' they are. Many customers have advised going half a size down as the boots show up a little large.

One impressed Marks and Spencer customer wrote: "Really comfortable, I do over 10,000 walk a day for work. And these boots are so good. I wore it brand new, there was no need to do "breaking into" new shoes ritual to avoid blisters etc. Happy to buy these boots in various colours if they decide to make it."

A second said: "These boots were just the style I was looking for - just the right side of chunky without being cumbersome. The leather is soft and they look & feel more expensive than they are. I’m normally a size 5 and sized down to a 4 1/2 which fitted perfectly."

A third added: "Dr Martens dupe. Great boots. Went down a size. Easy to order and collect." "The reviews are correct. Soft, comfy & look great but go a size down," said a fourth.

Somebody else said: "I love the boots, they are so comfortable, I would highly recommend. Zip is a winner, no tying and untying shoelaces. I wear them with jeans, skirts and dresses."

Another raved: "Bought the cream colour, more summery! As others have said, comfortable from the word go and best to order half a size down. I have been wearing mainly with dresses. Several people have asked where I got them and amazed at the price."

"These boots are like wearing slippers, the leather is so supple and extremely comfortable, tried to get them in stone , no one has them in the size would highly recommend these boots," said another M&S fan who bought the boots.
